Villa La Chaulee

Villa La Chaulee is a private, double-storey, self-catering villa located in the peaceful and old residential area, Grand Baie in Mauritius. This villa offers a unique opportunity to experience the very special way of life on the island.

The comfortably furnished villa has a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. It is beautifully decorated with original oil paintings and richly furnished with teak furniture, handcrafted by local cabinet makers. Upstairs the bedrooms all have balconies looking over the garden.

Downstairs is a veranda leading directly to the swimming pool with deck chairs and sun loungers. The tropical garden with lush exotic plants and tall old majestic trees has a covered kiosk with rustic wooden benches and a wooden table for dinner parties and a braai.

From the villa, guests can walk down the main coastal road to find Italian and Mauritian restaurants, a supermarket, wine bars, Italian and French delicatessens, art galleries and even beauty salons.
