Hotel guests and members of the public have a choice of 3 beverage outlets on-site; Linger Longer Wine Cellar, AJ's Sports Bar and The Terrace Deck Cocktail Bar.

Arabella's, Vrede Hotel's à la carte restaurant, seats up to 48 guests and serves various delectable meals such as exotic curries, seafood platters and beef steaks. Meals are also served on the terrace or thatched lapa area that is equipped with a braai area as well.

With an in-house events coordinator, qualified chef and staff of 25 members, the Vrede Hotel manages many small and large functions on a daily basis.

In order to provide guests with a complete banqueting or corporate package; horses and carriages, a variety of vintage cars and a 4x4 shuttle bus service are available for guests to hire. Use of a nearby farm can also be arranged for photographic or team building purposes.

The Vrede Hotel is fully equipped for all functions and events, from weekend family getaways, to intimate wedding receptions and romantic dinners, to business conferences and meetings.

Lovely stay by

It was lovely staying there.Besides the fact that when we checked in, there was a white old man shouting at the receptionist that if she doesn't understand English she must not work there. Reason for him shouting was because his chicken and Mayo order was not ready and it was taken wrong by the person he spoke to on the phone. I still have huge respect for the receptionist for keeping calm and not being disrespectful back.
