Whale Of A Time

Our privately owned establishment is a twelve sleeper luxury, serviced self-catering lodge along Jangamo Bay in the Inhambane province, Mozambique.

Nestled between Coconut Bay and Guinjata Bay, this luxury lodge sits right on the beach, and enjoys a cooling ocean breeze. In July and August the Humpback whales can be viewed from the pool deck.

Whale Of A Time is a five building Lodge with four en-suite bedrooms, and a main entertainment area with fully equipped kitchen, lounge with DStv and a dining area with braai facilities. From every room in the lodge you are able to view the beach and the ocean, even while in the shower or bath.

The resort has 2.5km of pristine beachfront, part of which is a protected reef which is safe for snorkelling. After a busy day of excurisions, guests can indulge in a loaf of delicious Portuguese bread made at our bakery.

Whale of a time is 20Km from the Inhambane airport, where there are daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg. The lodge is situated 6km from Jeffs Dive Centre at Guinjata bay where there are several restaurants as well. The lodge is complete with 24-hour security for peace of mind.

please note the last 2km of sand road to the lodge requires a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
