Wild Almond Cottage is a delightfully petite, two-bedroom Palmiet thatch roofed cottage,comprising two bathrooms, a lounge and kitchen and a large covered patio.Enjoy the refreshing farm style plunge pool where you are welcome to cool off after your travels.There is off road parking and WiFi,free of charge. Outside in the garden, guests can enjoy a traditional barbecue/Braai on the Weber. Unfortunately,not suitable for pets.Wild Almond is a strictly non smoking establishment. McGregor is a popular destination for visitors because of its remote location and old world charm.It is located in the Breede River Valley and is in close proximity to over 80 Wine Estates.We also have a speciality Grappa Distillery just outside of the village

Dennis, the kind owner, had contacted us with directions and advice on where to shop which allowed us to arrive stress free. The charm of this cottage manifests in the elegant décor and feel. Everything had been thought of. Add to this the fact that it is only a short walk from the the village centre, and there really is not a better place to sit back and enjoy McGregor. Thanks Dennis! Gorgeously outfitted with crisp cotton sheets and thick towels, all the cutlery and crockery (and bottle openers) you need, a stunningly deep plunge pool, and all the extras like custom-made cds and quality hand soap and cream. We received such a warm welcome from gracious hosts Dennis and Mo, and can't wait to go back. Categorically 5 star.
