Wildnut Loge en Game Farm

Wildnut Lodge and Game Farm is located just 12 km East of Louis Trichardt in the heart of the bush veld, Wildnut Lodge and Game Farm offers quality accommodation ideal for a larger group of friends or families traveling together to enjoy the African experience. The reception venue is suitable for weddings, reunions and business functions. We are wheelchair friendly. There is a wide variety of game on the farm. The final section of the route to Wildnut Lodge is reached by a well-maintained gravel road.

Wildnut Lodge and Game Farm offers accommodation for 22 people in a variety of accommodation options. The main lodge can accommodate 12 people from 6 rooms. It features a fully equipped kitchen, large entertainment area, a cash bar, a swimming pool as well as a fire pit where guests can socialize and listen to the night sounds. There is Wifi available throughout the lodge and rooms 1 to 4 each have their own television with internet television.
 
The family home can accommodate 4 people in 2 rooms with their own en-suite bathrooms and features its own self-catering kitchen and lounge. The family home is located near the lodge but guests can still have their own privacy. Wifi is available.

The self-catering bush camp is some distance away from the main lodge and thus enjoys absolute privacy. This bush camp consists of 3 rooms, each with their own en-suite outdoor bathrooms with gas heating. The bush camp has a self-catering kitchen with solar electricity and a braai area. Although the necessary furnishings and accessories are available to meet guests' basic needs, this accommodation option is more for guests who prefer the outdoors.

Activities on the farm include bush veld walks, swimming, bird watching and game drives. Additional activities are available on request but prior arrangements must be made. We are child friendly. Braai facilities and / or romantic dinners in the field can be arranged in advance. Meals are available on request and must be arranged in advance.

During the rainy season or when rain is expected, it is suggested that guests use a vehicle with high ground clearance to access. In severe rain showers (in exceptional cases) a 4x4 vehicle may be required. Inquiries can be made in advance.
