Ximongwe Safari Eco Camp is family owned and managed, a rustic and intimate, partially fenced bush camp nestling at the very heart of the Balule Parsons Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
A maximum of 6 guests are accommodated in 3 elevated safari style tent units set amongst the natural vegetation around a central campfire and boma area. The camp is fully off the grid with minimal ecological impact on our surroundings and guests will be advised to use our eco friendly amenities supplied throughout the camp. The design of the Safari Camp includes thatch, canvas and wood and truly contributes to the African look and feel of the camp. The canvas can be rolled up in all areas giving you a 360 degree view of the African bush. The main area, consisting of a communal lounge with three private lounges over looking a watering hole with animals frequently visiting. A self-help minibar and coffee/tea station is available. Dinner and breakfast can be served in the main dining area in true safari style with drinks at the bar, or in the boma with a traditional African campfire. A deck overlooking the Drankensberg can also be used to serve meals. Light lunches will be served on request. The safari style tent units comprises of elevated tree top tents with mosquito net windows, white linen, reading lights and fans. A fully equipped dressing area and bathroom with running hot water, hand washbasin, shower, towels, amenities and safari style cupboard are situated underneath the tents. Two private family bathrooms are situated close to the tents where you can laze in a luxury foam bath whilst enjoying the African bush.
A viewing deck overlooking the watering holes will be the place to spend your days relaxing and enjoying the frequent movement of animals quenching their thirst. Our guests have found that the wilderness experience is much enhanced if you can stay for at least three nights.
