Zambezi Island Loge

Life at the Zambezi Island Lodge is easy, carefree and unique, with a private swimming pool and bar area, access to guided fishing tours, sundowner cruises and the wise waters of the lake, it promises to be an African experience to be remembered.

We offer fly in and fully catered packages for those who want to spend less time on the road and more time on the river. Self-catering groups are also welcome and this includes a chef that will follow your instructions in preparing your meals. We would like our guests to enjoy absolute privacy. So we will never rent the lodge out to more than one group. So the bigger your group the better the per person rate will be.

Built from stone, the Lodge accommodates 12 adults and four children in air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Inside the living area, the dining area seats up to 16 guests, with an adjoining TV and lounge area, that then leads to the bar and pool table area.

The bar area opens up onto the outside veranda which is the ideal place to relax and read a book or enjoy a card or board game. For that reason, we have every board game you can think for your convenience. The entertainment area is finished off with a wooden teak deck and lawn that leads to the swimming pool.

Zambezi Island Lodge is the ideal family holiday destination, with plenty for the kids to do and far less for the adults to do. What else can you do but just relax.
