Ombinda Country Lodge is situated approximately 1 km south from Outjo on the C38 route, boasting lovely, lush, colourful gardens and a beautiful swimming pool. Ombinda Country Lodge is the ideal stopover before continuing your journey towards the famous Etosha National Park, the Vingerklip, the Petrified Forest or Twyfelfontein. The lodge offers guests comfort and leisure, with a touch of tranquility and true Namibian hospitality.Accommodation is offered in 15 thatched double bungalows and nine double rooms. All of our bungalows and rooms have en?suite facilities and are comfortably furnished with indigenous materials. Free wireless Internet access is also available.In addition, Ombinda Country Lodge offers spacious camping facilities on grass, equipped with electrical power points and braai areas. The campsites include communal ablution blocks and the use of the restaurant and swimming pool area are open to all guests.After relaxing around the pool bar with a sundowner, guests can enjoy excellent Namibian cuisine such as a delicious buffet or select from an a la carte menu in our thatched lapa restaurant. Special braais and luncheons can be organized for groups on request. Ombinda Country Lodge also offers conference facilities and caters for all kinds of functions and weddings as well. For recreation, we recommend bird-watching, hiking or simply relaxing next to our pool with the soothing sounds of nature.

We were very disappointed! It was very dirty and the food was terrible! The bedding was gross as well! We will never stay there again!

An oasis by

What a lovely surprise - after 100's km on gravel road. The children enjoyed the splash in the pool. The rooms were comfortable and food excellent. Nice atmosphere.

Noise by

Good campsite but very noisy because of owners brickyard in the camping area.

Wir waren 2 Tage dort. Es sieht sehr hübsch aus. Kleine Riet gedeckte Hütten. Wir haben in neuen Reihenhäuser gewohnt welche sehr komfortabel waren. Große Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile und großem Bad. Aber die hübschen Hütten waren innen mehr als abgewohnt und modrig. Auch der Pool könnte sauberer sein. Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal hilfsbereit und sehr nett.

Good rooms and beds. There was only some noise during the night from a disco nearby, but that was out of the hands of the lodge.
