OPPI DAM REVIEWS (94 %) Fantastic by Karen Spence, South Africa 05 May 2016 What a wonderful campsite. Was a absolute spoiled vacation- having our own ablution and kitchen with ample space.
Amazing views and very very neat and beautiful campsite.
Will definitely see us soon.

A wonderful warm welcome and great hospitality. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Oppidam by Veronica Herselman 05 January 2018 What a lovely place to camp, neat and tidy. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be back One of our best stays, great spot by Lara De Matos 08 January 2018 Oppi Dam comes in as a top 5 campsite and we've been to plenty! Well located on the way to the Cango Caves, it's a great launching spot for exploring the area as well as Route 62. Rather stay here than in other overcrowded spots in the R62 area.
The spot is great, with lush lawns and trees for shade (trees available in the first set of campsites). Each site has its own bathroom and open kitchen space, all under-roof. Feels like a safe location. Also get a lovely sense of your own space, which we appreciated a lot.
Reception is warm and welcoming, with relevant information supplied. We even spent some time fishing in their dam and caught a few bass.
Comes highly recommended and is priced exceptionally well for what you get. Would much rather stay here than far more expensive and extremely packed campsites in other locations around this area. Beautiful and peaceful scenary by Alicia Zeeman 02 April 2018 Very neat and well equipped. Lovely setup with view over the dam. Basic amenities could have been better, such as toiletpaper and bags for the bin. Cosy and pleasant by Redah Hendricks 06 April 2018 A lovely place that has a relaxed and pleasant setting. It is close to all the tourist attractions. Nature by Franco Viljoen 09 April 2018 The peacefulness of the surrounding. To see the open skies and stars at night by Johan Marais 11 May 2018 This is definitely one of the most beautiful venues that we ever visited The manager and owner personally welcomed us and later on came to check up on us I would recommend it to anybody that want to enjoy a night in a beautiful and serene environment The camping site and cleasiness and friendliness of the staff by Genevieve Hopley 10 June 2018 The hot water was low they need to check the gas bottles. But otherwise the place is a good and pleasant enviroment. Would recommend it thank you Chalets by Ruth Erasmus 27 June 2018 We stayed overnight en route elsewhere in a Chalet and a Cottage as a family travelling with granny. The cottages are small but adequate for an overnight and have a well equipped kitchenette. The Chalet had 2 nice sized bedrooms (one queen, one twin) and was great for a family, with decent sizedAircon and heating ensures you don't get hot in summer or freeze in winter.
Chalets over look a dam. The campsite is far enough away that it shouldn't be too disturbing when busy. Also looks lovely with individual ablutions and nice green grass. OPPI DAM LOCATION
