OR Tambo Guest House is situated in a beautiful area only 10 minutes drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport. This country style guest house is ideal for for corporate- and leisure travelers looking for a relaxing and tranquil getaway.

There are eight spacious luxury bedrooms, from a single room to a four-bed family room, all of which have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, oval bath and separate toilet. Each room is elegantly decorated and has LCD TV with communal DStv premium bouquet, tea- and coffee-making facilities, working desk and free Wi-Fi connectivity. All rooms leads out onto a sunny spacious veranda. A complimentary continental or English breakfast is included in this price.

We also offer six standard budget rooms outside of the main mansion. These rooms have single or double beds and en-suite bathrooms with a shower. There are also a LCD TV with communal DStv premium bouquet, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi connectivity.

Additional amenities on the property include an outdoor pool, a lush garden with fire pits and a relaxing water fountain. Secure parking is provided on the premises. Airport transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.

We traveled to JHB for 24hrs and found OR Tambo Guest House reception to be a welcome overnight stay with comfortable beds, a welcome reception after hours on the road and a lovely setting. We'd definitely visit again when looking for an overnight stay close to OR Tambo Airport.

NOTHING by

We didn't found the place and we called for direction and the guy we spoke to he said he don't know how to direct us. And we end up going back and sleep in the car. That area is scary.

Lovely Tranquil Place to stay by

After having a bit of a bother to find the place it was indeed lovely to arrive at OR Tambo Guest House. I came via O R Tambo Airport, and on the revue it seemed that the Safari instructions for this location were not quite correct. Staff at the guest house are looking into that. What a lovely tranquil place to stay., and I felt really rested when I continued my journey the next day. thank you for the hospitality

So far just to clean up Shower twice a week in the executive room but rather than that I loved the place

Pleasant over night stay, for a family of six by

Huge lawn, where the kids could run around, after a 3 hour trip in the car. Relaxed atmosphere. Will recommend this establishment. Made use of the dining table on the veranda. Used the shuttle service early next morning to OR Tambo.

Close to the airport, good for a 1 night stay by

We stayed in the budget room. It was very clean and the hosts friendly and welcoming. In the room, we missed a bedside table and the dstv was on an off but this was due to dstv problems. There was also no tray in the bathroom where we could have put our washbags. The room is basic but ok for a 1 night stay. The breakfast buffet was ok. The food on offer was limited to cheese slices which we had to request to be refilled and eggs/omlett and bread, yoghurt/fruit. We would recommend that more attention is being paid to the food and presentation thereof. We overall had a good stay at the guesthouse.
