Orchard Cottage is a beautiful vintage self-catering cottage situated in an apricot orchard in the town of McGregor, in the beautiful Breede River Valley of the Western Cape.

The cottage can accommodate up to four adult guests and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a open plan living room kitchen area.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms has pocket-coil mattresses, duck down duvets and percale linen. The first bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin, and the second bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.

The small kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a microwave, stove, kettle, toaster and full size fridge-freezer. The lounge has a fireplace and a flat screen TV with premium DSTv and a DVD player.

The garden has a barbecue facilities and a small children play area.

Lovely little getaway cottage by

We were pleasantly surprised by Orchard Cottage especially as the rates were so affordable! It was cosy and neat, with our every possible need seen to. The surrounding orchard is pretty and well kept. Our only complaint was our slightly noisy neighbours, but other than that we had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

We were in McGregor for the Poetry Festival so that was our focus and delight for the weekend!! by

We loved the homeliness of Orchard Cottage - it has everything you need and is very comfortable!! We could walk in and out of town easily and enjoyed the space around us. Maybe better lighting at the braai area please? Not all the solar lights were working so we used candles instead!!

An absolute gem by

What a lovely cottage. This is truly a gem. It is so well kept and clean that it felt like it was built only last week. We brought far too many things with us as they think of everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The owners are super helpful and friendly. I am a well seasoned traveler and this was one of my best stays anywhere. I highly recommend the Orchard Cottage!
