Outspan Safaris

Welcome to Outspan Safaris and Private Game Reserve, a privately-owned treasure providing guests with true South African hospitality and great memories. We pride ourselves on making our guests feel part of the family, and sharing our passion for nature with you.

Choose from our Twin Economy rooms, with two three-quarter beds, or our Double Deluxe rooms, with a queen bed (two of the rooms also feature a single bed). All of our rooms feature a private en-suite bathroom with hot water shower, tea- and coffee-making facilities, linen and bath towels, and mountain views.

We have our own restaurant on site, serving meals which must be prearranged. We serve and English breakfast between 07:00AM and 09:00AM (R80 per person), and a one-course dinner between 06:00PM and 07:00PM (120 per person).

At the Reserve you will see not only mountains, but gorges, waterfalls and hanging cliffs; here you will see some of the country's most spectacular views. Game drives are available on request for adults and children, or you can enjoy a scenic hike on your own.

The property is located in the Eastern Cape which is a malaria-free zone; it is accessible via a well-maintained gravel road from the Kei Cuttings off the N2. It is situated just 14 kilometres from Komga, a small town with a supermarket and a few restaurants.
