Best food I've had in Zimbabwe - and I've been going to Zimbabwe yearly for the last 10 years. We Stayed at PADANDARO GUEST House (Bulawayo) . I can confidently say they are the BEST .... the overall experience was best ..if we had choice we would have stayed few more days with them at guest house . Staff was friendly very supportive ...the ambiance is very nice ... Rooms are very nice ... the best is Lawns and their dinning area ... the Owner and staff 200% take care of their guests and make you feel home away from Home ..... Yes Car wash was done all was offered to us to keep us smiling.. What ever help or assistance we looked for was their ... I can keep going .. its the Best ... While I will strongly recommend them you too try them and share your experience as well ... Joburg to Vic Falls ( via Bulawayo ) Zimbabwe
Initially we too like many had our own doubts as we were 4 families with kids ... but the journey was very good ... Good roads and not so problematic police .. Border crossing might take time as the procedure is longer and if you plan to be their over weekends or festive season then expect bit of a rush as well .... Yes let me tell all you can make payments at Border, gas stations and Tolls in Rands ... We infact carried lot of USD but could not spend many of them as RANDS was accepted mostly .
