All the Podica chalets, three in total are built on bank of the Palala River and the Wild olive thicket, overlooking the beautiful view of the Palala River. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, braai area, en-suite bath and a lovely outdoor shower for the summer months! Towel and bed linen are provided - Firewood can be provided at R20.00 per bundle. Come and stay here to escape to the peace and tranquillity of the bush. Wide diversity of game including leopard, hippo and crocodile. 7 km of the beautiful Palala river winds through the middle of the reserve Malaria free 3 hours' drive from Johannesburg Abundant bird life Self-drive game viewing. Guided walks and game drives subject to availability. Crockery, cutlery, two ring stove, kettle and toaster are provided. All you need to bring is your own food and drinks, and possibly ice.

You can self-drive or walk on the reserve. Guided game drives and walks can be booked through Jembisa Lodge. Game on the reserve includes Giraffe, Burchell's Zebra, Kudu, and Eland, Gemsbuck, Red ? Hartebeest, Impala, Warthog, Bushpig and much more. Game drives and walks are available on request and is subject to availability as our Main Lodge takes preference.

Please note that 4x4 in not necessary to navigate the roads but a vehicle with high clearance would be recommended.

Ons het na 'n jaar teruggekeer na die pragtige natuurskoon en rustigheid.  Dit was heerlik om die bos sonder enige onnatuurlike steuringe te geniet.  Warm gasvryheid en sjampanje om 'n verjaarsdag onvergeetlik te maak. Ons sal beslis weer kom kuier!

Ons het Palala Podica besoek tussen 18-21 Maart. Die Chartlet was skoon en niks meer is nodig vir die lekker rus tyd nie. Hier word mens weer een met die natuur en gee jou kans om jou kop skoon te kry na al die gejaag. Die personeel is voortreflik en vriendelik. Die lekker huotvuur en die waterstroom maak die atmosfeer soveel aangenamer. Dankie aan julle mense julle sorg dat ons almal kan lekker rus terwyl julle seker maak alles loop reg.
