Paradise Lodge

Paradise Lodge is situated in the Greater Mabalingwe Nature Reserve and boasts approximately 2000 head of game, including elephant, rhino, hippo, buffalo, lion and seldom, leopard. The accommodation is ideal for nature lovers and wildlife photographers, as well as a quality break away for the whole family. The house is ideal for one group at a time, and discounted rates will apply for the booking of the whole house. In December the birds will be breeding and small warthogs play around the house. There are five en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, a dining room with ample seating, and a lounge area with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV with DStv. There is also a guest toilet in the living area. There are braai facilities as well as a small swimming pool. Braai wood can be supplied at extra cost. There is a carport for two vehicles. Small children need to be supervised at the swimming pool, we do not accept any responsibility.Guests can enjoy game drives in the reserve, and in the Greater Mabalingwe, there is a farm stall with a large swimming pool, two tennis courts, and two squash courts. The Main Lodge has a restaurant and bar on the premises as well as a heated swimming pool. Horse riding and archery can be booked at reception.For the Golfers: There are 4 Golf courses, in less than 20 Km from Mabalingwe. Please note: We are in a Game Reserve and guest come to enjoy, the peace and quietness.It is not an party venue.Noise travel far in the open area's and must be kept to an minimum at all times,( No loud music ever!) with no noise after 10pm ( we can be fined a R 1000-00)If you agree with the above, this is the place to come to.
