With majestic mountains as a natural backdrop and located just a short distance away from many charming vineyards, Paradise Cottage offers a secluded getaway for guests visiting the scenic town of Franschhoek in the Western Cape.

The property offers a fully furnished cottage with one bedroom and a private bathroom. There is also a single bed in the living area, making this an ideal choice for a small family. The cottage has a lovely patio which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. There is a fully equipped kitchen and braai facilities available for all your self-catering needs.

There is also a guest room available in the main house with its own separate entrance. It has a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Even though there are no self-catering facilities available, guests can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and rusks during their stay.

Guests can look forward to enjoying a farm life experience with horse, chickens and cattle roaming freely on the property. The pond is ideal for fishing, while the swimming pool encourages guests to take a refreshing dip. The many restaurants and shops of the town are just a short distance away, making this cottage the ideal base to explore this beautiful area from.

Absolutely Amazing Place by

Honestly for the price, we weren't expecting much but we were just wanting a quick get away from Cape Town. But we were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Williams cottage, which an old labourer's cottage. It's got everything you need but they even went further with fresh flowers, chocolate on the pillow and awesome home made rusks. It's tranquil, set on a horse farm with a few cows as well. It has a lovely pool. The cottage comes with a lovely veranda and you feel like you in the middle of the forest. Lovely people run the place and over all it was just a such good value for money. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was clean and was MORE than we expected for the price we paid! Highly recommended! Shaded Views and the pool was just perfect after a hot day in the Winelands.

Our cottage was rustic, but with all necessities included. A dense row of trees provided privacy from the neighboring cottage. Lovely view from the veranda looking over the dam at the mountains.

A sweet, rustic cottage with a view of the mountains and the horses in the field. The peace and quiet was amazing. Only 5ks from the top end of Franschoek high street, I even walked into town. Great spot. Secluded and quiet. Everything you need.

We loved everything of the farm - my daughter loves the horses - the friendly hosts - we had a braai every night and thats the only thing that needs to be repaired - nearly burnt through but otherwise everything great
