Paurosa's private and exclusive Game Lodge is perfect for a family weekend. The camp lies in a valley overlooking a dam and mountains that are home to many types of wildlife. The camp can easily accommodate 15 people and is available one group at a time, ensuring you have complete privacy during your stay. Accommodation is in the form of three chalets and a main area. Each chalet contains a bed and a sleeper couch and has an en-suite bathroom. Other room amenities include air-conditioning and a minibar fridge, with linen and towels provided.
The main area consists of a kitchen, scullery, living area and private deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes cutlery and crockery, a fridge and freezer, stove and oven, and a kettle and toaster. The living area offers couches, a fireplace and a dining table as well as a pool table and a piano, while the pool deck boasts a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool. There is also an open and closed area available for braais as well as outside tables and chairs, and camp staff clean all the facilities daily.
Paurosa offers a variety of activities, with experienced game rangers who are willing to share their knowledge with other wildlife enthusiasts. Some of the activities include day and night game drives, hiking, clay pigeon shooting, bird-watching, mountain biking, quad biking and 4x4 trails among others.
