Pecan Grove Bed and Breakfast

Pecan Grove Bed and Breakfast is situated on the farm Hilton near Frankfort in the Free State. The lovely B&B offers five rooms furnished with double or single beds, three of which have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with a TV with DStv access as well as tea and coffee facilities, and linen and towels are also provided. The B&B is wheelchair friendly and every morning guests can enjoy a scrumptious farm-style breakfast.

Pecan Grove has a lovely garden where guests can relax and enjoy nature and parking is available in lock-up garages for peace of mind. Facilities for birthday parties, conferences and team building for up to 30 people are also available.

Guests looking to explore the area can take a short hike along the Wilge River to a rustic lapa where they can enjoy a sundowner and the peaceful surroundings. Catch and release fly fishing is also done at the river. The Vaal Dam is worth a visit, where guests can participate in various water sports from fishing, skiing and canoeing. The dam also hosts yearly events like the Keelboat Week yacht race and the Bayshore Marina Vaal Dam treasure hunt. The Vredefort Dome is also worth a visit and is home to the oldest and largest meteorite impact site.
