Situated along the unspoilt coastline of Grotto Bay, Pelican Beach House is a waterfront property with a 180º view of the sea and is only 200m from a private beach. The house offers an idyllic seaside getaway to guests. It is a great choice for nature- and water enthusiasts visiting this picturesque part of the West Coast.

This beautiful beach house has three sunny bedrooms, of which all offer lovely views of the surrounding area. The open-plan living space consists of a well-equipped kitchen for all of your self-catering needs, a dining area and a lounge with a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings.

The house is nestled within a private nature reserve, affording guests a unique opportunity to appreciate the abundance of bird- and wild life indigenous to this area. Guests can enjoy a braai on the outside patio, before taking an evening stroll along the nearby beach.

Guests can spend their days exploring the nature reserve, visiting the historical town of Mamre or simply enjoy the wine estates of Darling. The nearby town of scenic Philadelphia offers a great excuse to discover the area. However guests choose to spend their time, they can rest assured that they will have memorable and relaxing stay.

I wanted to thank Toni for allowing us to enjoy his 'little gem on the west coast'!  It is a beautiful place with the most amazing views.  The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you could need - truely a pleasure to cook, relax and unwind there.

Pelican Beach House definitely was a highlight for our family. As soon as we entered the house we felt "home". It was so inviting and very peaceful that we immediately felt the weight of a long working week drop from our shoulders. The ambience in the house is amazing - therefore no matter which part of the house you are in, you always feel peaceful. We only spent a weekend at Pelican Beach house but it did wonders for us and we were able to tackle the next week with so much more energy. Thank you Toni for always ensuring that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay!

We loved this house, excellent getaway in a beautiful surrounding. We views are amazing and the house is beautiful decorated and kitchen nicely equipped. We would definitely come back.

Long beautiful, people-free walks by

Loved the soft linen; the view; proximity to the walking paths and layout. There are some privacy issues with the bathroom - but this can be overcome. Not recommended for a large group - perhaps two couples and a child. It is very cosy and beautifully decorated.
