Pelican Lodge and Camping is a great destination that has both accommodation and Campsites for guests, making it an ideal stopover in Botswana.

All of the chalets have en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, air-conditioning, TVs, minibar fridges, phones and access to the Internet. The Campsites have private ablution facilities with hot and cold water, as well power points and fireplaces.

The main lodge boasts two restaurants, a boma and one executive restaurant to provide guests with a dining option. There is a bar area that serves a range of drinks on a terrace overlooking some palm trees. The great swimming pool is perfect for the hot Botswana days and is a great space for families to relax after driving through Botswana.

Nata Bird Sanctuary is a great place to watch the prolific birdlife in the area. Experienced guides can take guests on walks in the early mornings and evenings and offer their expert skills in spotting the birds. Nata Sanctuary is part of the Sua Pan which is one of the largest salt pans in Botswana; it is a seasonal lake during the wet season.

Excellent place to stay by

This was an excellent place to stay, well trained staff and very kind. We had a good rest here with good food.

Overnight stay by

The reception and rooms was nice The interior was good specific the outdoor shower. The room was not clean.. dirty glass and spider webs on the chair The bad part... We waited for one and a half hour for our food at the restaurant and still didn't received any

Perfection at the Pelican Lodge by

We spent one night at the campsite, arriving just in time to set up and then enjoy the sunset safari drive at Nata. The staff was amazing from the get-go. Phillip, the safari guide, knowledgeable, accommodating, and a great driver and guide. Beautiful wildlife, sunset, all around perfection. Would definitely return.

Disappointment by

I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment in December 2013 and what is saw this time around was utter disappointment and sadness in seeing a formerly great resort going down so badly. For what we were offered now was a rip off. If you were having water and power problems put close for a while sort the problems then re-open. This way you will just attract bad reviews like this one and no clients at all. You have great structures and location. Dont throw it away with limp along management.

Restaurant was good by

Good for Botswana. Accommodation is a bit over rated . Lodge is to close to the road, thus traffic noise a bit high.
