PENNY FARTHING COUNTRY HOUSE REVIEWS (97 %) Wonderful stay by Karen Fulcher, United Kingdom 04 October 2007 We had a wonderful stay at the Penny Farthing guest house, rooms are lovely and the food excellent. It is a very friendly and welcoming place. Foy the owner does the battlefields tour which we did and strongly recommend this to anyone who stays there as without his great knowledge we would have not had a clue.
Ann the housekeeper who does all the cooking is lovely and really friendly and makes everyone feel so welcome straight away. Everyone sits around a large dining table for breakfast and dinner, and what a great way to get to know people and to hear their experiences.
