Phillipskop Mountain Reserve is perched on the fynbos covered slopes of the Klein River Mountains, just outside Stanford and half an hour outside of Hermanus. It is home to Phillipskop Cave, the only recorded heritage site for rock art on the Cape Whale Coast.The spacious cottages have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with an eight-seater table, a comfortable lounge with a fireplace, and a balcony with outstanding views. The abode also offers guests mountain-side braai facilities and parking on the premises.Guests can take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views across the Overberg or get out and explore the reserve. Other attractions in the area include the Klein River Cheese Factory, several vineyards and breweries, as well as whale-watching in Hermanus and at De Kelders.
