Tented Adventures Pilanesberg is situated in the wondrous Pilanesberg National Park, home to the Big 5, and offers an authentic tented safari experience.

The tented camp comprises of comfortable twin-bedded accommodation in canvas constructed tents, which furthermore feature standing fans, electricity, and shared bathroom facilities. Pilanesberg also offers guests morning and afternoon open vehicle game drives, full English and continental breakfasts with a braai dinner, a swimming pool, parking on the premises, and return road transfers from Johannesburg and Pretoria are available.

Guests can enjoy the stunning natural surrounding have to offer, or venture out to local towns to explore native attractions.

Great value for money by

Spent 2 nights at short notice. Tents very comfortable with quality beds, heat blanket and heater. Breakfast at the restaurant was great, as were the dinners at the tents. Saw 4 of the big five during the 4 game drives included in the price. Highly recommend with friendly and helpful staff

2 nights in November at Pilanesberg by

We had a great time at the Tented Safari camp and the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. I have been to private game reserves and Kruger and this reserve is bigger than the small reserves but not too big that you have to drive long distances before seeing the wildlife. The game drivers are also in touch with each other so the chances of seeing the wildlife is greatly improved.

It would have been nice to have bathroom facilities in the Tented Safari camp but we managed with a walk to the camp sites shared facilities. The tents do get hot during the day but are very comfortable at night.

Very Disappointing by

The site is very sparse - right up against the Electric fence of the Manyane camp. Entire camp riddled with small thorns that clung to everything.The communal ablutions in the caravan park were too small (1 shower, two toilets) and were not kept clean. The dinner was sub standard. Cold dry chicken breast. Cold potatoes, margarine, green salad and beetroot. Not what you would expect for the price. We did not participate on the game drives so can only comment on the food and facilities.

Very peaceful place with amazing place by

We enjoyed our stay happily. We could see all of big 5 along with many other animals in the park. The stay was simple and clean. The owner and staff were very polite and helpful. Food was pretty delicious. I would recommend this place to all.
