Pomona Farm House is a self-catering farm house located in one of the highest farms on Piketberg Mountain overlooking the highest peak which is Zebra's kop. This is a working fruit and protea farm with over 100 Ha of natural veld in which to walk, cycle and do birding. some birding highlights are the Protea Seedeater, Cape Siskin and Cape Eagle Owl.The house offers three bedrooms with two single beds made up as a king-size bed, and two queen-size beds. There are three bathrooms, two with a shower and one with a bath, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, cutlery, crockery, a fridge, washing machine, oven, microwave and filter coffee machine. There is a fireplace and air conditioner in the lounge/dining area. Towels, bedding, toilet paper and soap are also provided. Babysitting can be arranged and a maid service in the morning. There is a fireplace in the large sitting/dining room with wood provided free of charge and TV with local channels is also available.The large veranda boasts fantastic views of the mountains and valley below. Braai/BBQ facilities with wood provided free of charge are available and swimming and bass fishing is allowed in the dam; please bring own rod and lures.

Very cosy by

It was one of the most enjoyable places that me and my family and friends had in a very long time. Even the cold winters nights could not dampen our spirits. A very cosy and humble place to visit. Thanks to Rob Duncan and family for our stay. Qill be back very soon.

A home away from home by

We had a fantastic time at Pomona Farm House. Our kids spent time exploring and playing on a working flower and export fruit farm. We spent late afternoons enjoying the views from the veranda, and evenings in front of a cosy fire. The owner is a mountain biker who is happy to show guests the trails on and around the farm.

Perfect place for a break by

We stayed for 3 nights and would have stayed longer if not for commitments. The house is big, comfortable and very well equipped. Everything you would expect and more. The views are outstanding and it is very quiet and peaceful. We will be back



We had a marvelous weekend. The view fantastic, we could' nt ask for better. The farm, the mountains, the flowers, etc.....we saw the hand of God in every where.
