Pophuis is a fully equipped house situated in Cradock, ideal for a large family or a group of friends. Cradock is a historical town lying on the banks of the Great Fish River, a serene but typical Karoo farming town.
The house consists of four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a lounge area with a sun patio and braai facilities. There are safe lock-up facilities for vehicles.
The original part of town is graced with some of the finest buildings. The Dutch Reformed Church is a national monument, designed to look like London's St Martin's-in-the-field. There is also the Olive Shreiner House Museum which is devoted to the authoress's life and works.
Cradock is probably best known for its natural sulphur spring, now the source of the town's modern spa that draws people from all over the country to experience both its open-air and indoor heated pools.
