The well-known stone paths overlooking the sea where tourists will see whales in the season is only 200 meters far and leads further to the safe saltwater swimming area.

Port del Mar's rooms are modernly furnished, with tasteful white linen and splashes of colour and have views of the garden and mountain and are served daily. All the rooms are en-suite, with DSTV, coffee/tea, air-conditioning, fridge, hairdryer and safe as well as Wifi.

Breakfast is served in the tasteful dining room where there are also comfortable chairs with a fireplace for the cold winter evenings. On the first floor, there is a private pub/lounge where guests can relax with friends.

As Hermanus residents for more than 17 years, we can make informed suggestions regarding restaurants, markets, shops and place reservations for shark diving and whaling.
