With sights of the farmland and Drakensberg Mountains, this accommodation is a real gem. Providence Self Catering Venue offers a look into the wild.

Guests can book the Providence Cottage or the Providence Verandah Flatlet. The Cottage comprises two bedrooms and a living area with a kitchen. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed with a heater and underfloor heating. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and washing machine as well as heated towel rails.

The second bedroom has one double bed and two three-quarter beds. The room has a heater and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and underfloor heating.

The open-plan living area is composed of a lounge with a fireplace, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge able to accommodate a further two guests with prior arrangement. Guests also have access to DStv.

The Providence Verandah Fatlet can accommodate six guests and comprises one bedroom and an open-plan living area with a kitchenette. The bedroom is fitted with a double bed and two single beds.

There is a bathroom with a bath only. There are two twin beds in the lounge area which is equipped with a kitchenette containing a bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and an outside braai.

Providence Self Catering Venue offers guests on-site parking, a braai area as well as a swimming pool. Guests are welcome to bring pets along as the venue is pet friendly.

Mooi River outdoor attractions include Blinkwater Hiking Trail and fishing at ZuluWaters Game Reserve. Guests at Providence Self Catering Venue can enjoy a meal at Hartford House Restaurant or iSibaya Restaurant.

The view is stunning by

I ended up staying for a week in the budget verandah flat. Most of what one need is provided . Only little issue for my is the lack of space to hang clothes in the bedroom . Maybe a bit more utensils in the kitchen eg Tin opener , bottle opener .All of that will help if one stays longer than one night.I started to miss the TV only on the weekend.Lizzy the cleaning lady is a 5 star. Tks Michelle and Clive it was a good stay.
