Pumzika Game Farm and Eco-Estate offers majestic mountainous views from the breathtaking grasslands and bushveld of the Northern Province. Go hiking, swimming in the swimming pool or the dam, play pool, braai in the spacious lapa, watch the game from the tree hide, or enjoy a sundowner.

Just across the road is Marakele National Park... with its majestic Big Five (suggestion: bring your Wild Card along!)

Pumzika's lodge and chalets are first class, comfortable, and well furnished. Bedding is provided, but bring your own towels and toiletries. Rooms are tidied daily... the kitchen twice per day (arrange the times with Linah). The lounge has DStv and there is a fully equipped kitchen.

(Only one group is housed at Pumzika at a time - therefor you have the use of all facilities for your group)

Onsite the lodge offers a lapah, a pool table and hiking trails. If you have mountain bikes (with e.g. tubeless tyres), you won't regret bringing them. The lodge is only 15 km from Thabazimbi's shops.

PUMZIKA GAME FARM AND ECO-ESTATE REVIEWS (31%)

Peaceful... The most beautiful sunsets... We enjoyed every game drive thoroughly - whether we saw many animals or not (it's a unique time of socializing in itself)! Kids couldn't get enough of the swimming pool. Aircon is a big PLUS on the hot days. We actually missed the kids :-P ....except for game drives, swimming, and meal times, they were nowhere to be seen... (at best the TV developed an inferiority complex that weekend).

It was wonderful: the quietness of the bush, the scenery, the animals in their natural habitat.

A great place for a gathering of friends or family. The 5 rooms, swimming pool, game drive , lapa, view and location allowed us to have a great few days relaxing with our family. It was better than expected from the write up!

A really lovely place to get away to in the bushveld by

Everyone in our group really enjoy the weekend at Pumzika. The place is great - well equipped, comfortable and very tranquil and relaxing. And we enjoyed and appreciated the help and assistance from Linah (who cleaned the lodge and washed the dishes) and Abel (who took us on a game drive and made the fires at the lapa). The game drive we did early one morning was great and we were amazed by the number of animals we saw, both on the drive and especially at the waterhole in front of the lodge. It was such a treat for us ?dorpsmense? to find Giraffe drinking at the waterhole when we arrived on Friday. About the only small complaint we have is that the pool was a little green. But we still all enjoyed being able to cool down in it, as it gets very hot in this part of the world. All who spent the weekend there are planning to go back again with their families.
