Rafiki's Place

Rafiki's Place is a lovely bushveld self-catering home in Mabalingwe Nature Reserve.

Rafiki's Place can comfortably accommodate 8 guests and consist of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an additional loft room. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Open-plan fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room with a built-in fireplace.

The unit boasts a large viewing deck as well as a separate lapa/boma with an outside braai and splash pool.
Privacy is ensured. In the evenings you can sit blissfully on the porch and listen to the roar of lions and the snoring of hippos, and in the morning and day, the elephant's trumpeter announces the beginning of the new day.

Wildlife & safari activities are available to guests and can be booked at Mabalingwe's main reception.Look out for zebras, kudu, wildebeest, baboons, monkeys, warthogs and more. This exquisite setting is a birdwatching lover's paradise.

There is covered parking for 1 x vehicle and paved parking for 4 x vehicles. A private game drive vehicle is available to guests at an additional cost per day, and is subject to being booked for the full duration of your stay (self-drive basis).

Our priority is respect for the animals and their environment. That is why we do not want to invite groups here that only want to party, waste and noise. We are strict about the number of guests booking.
