From the moment you arrive, William makes you feel right at home. The staff are so friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. Our room was stylish and we loved the views from the pool terrace over False Bay. We immediately regretted not booking for longer.
The two ?PR? doggies, Cookie and Rocky add such life to the home and are really adorable.
I have traveled a lot and never have I found such perfect accommodation, with the added bonus of having the best dinner in Cape Town. The food was out of the world, fresh local produce, cooked to perfection. The breakfast was the best we have had at a guesthouse.
We can't wait to return, Residence William French, is a bit of heaven just waiting to be enjoyed. The Host William Himself by Jo Anne Williams 02 May 2018 The place is absolutely beautiful. You feel at home from the moment you walk in by the front door each room has its own unique story to tell. Everything was beyond perfection and getting to know William was a wonderful experience. I would definitely go back and recommend them to everyone.

From the moment we arrived to our departure, everything was absolutely amazing. I was in awe of the smallest attention to detail in everything done at the guest house. The most accommodating host- William and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.
The rooms were fit for royalty, everything needed were at our fingertips. The breakfast and dinner was most enjoyable. I found myself most at peace on the patio, with great company and good conversation. Taking in the breath-taking view of the ocean and surrounding area, while being entertained by the two cutest, most friendliest dogs, Cookie and Rocky.
Thank you William and staff, for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. You guys are absolute gems. We'll definitely be back! Amazing stay! by Jody Simon, South Africa 04 June 2018 Our stay at Residence William French was amazing - the King suite was tastefully decorated with the most amazing views of the ocean - bed linen lovely and warm - shloomfy chairs were extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and made us feel at home. The images does not do justice to how beautiful this place is. The breakfast prepared by chef/owner William was delicious and mouth watering, definitely a great way to start your day. We would highly recommend this beautiful guest house.
