Rift Valley Photographic Lodge

Located in the world-renowned Rift Valley, surrounded by the most sought after photographic safari destinations, the Rift Valley Photographic Lodge is set high in a bush-cloaked ridge, with magnificent views over Lake Manyara.

Well positioned, the lodge provides visitors with a great base from which to explore the Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti National Park, the Olduvai Gorge, the Tarangire National Park, Lake Natron and the Engaruka Ruins.

What could be described as raw African beauty, the lodge has been designed in the circular pattern of a traditional Masai village. The main lodge is built around an ancient Baobab tree in a true Masai style, with each public area constructed as an individual unit with spectacular views over Lake Manyara. Guests can relax in the lounge, enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or have sundowners at the bar; adjacent to the deck surrounding the baobab and overlooking the pool area.

Leading from the lodge by walkways, accommodation is available in individual chalets. Each boasts uninterrupted views, private verandas and en-suite facilities. Furnished in rich leather, the units truly captivate the ?African Bush? atmosphere.

The lodge is located in northern Tanzania, about 120 km west of the Arusha, en route to the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Plains. Airport transfers by road from Arusha, takes approximately 2 hours.
