The Roosters Rest Country Cottage is dated back to the early circa 1950s and was originally a station manager's home when Waterval Boven was a strategic railway junction and is a gateway to the wonderland of the Lowveld and near the Kruger National Park for the intrepid explorers and adventurers. The home is a popular set and setting for international climbers and travellers between Gauteng and Maputo. The space is embraced beautifully within a tranquil garden space for bird watchers.
