Rorke's Drift Lodge is situated against the Sinqindi Mountains overlooking the battlefields of Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana made famous during 1879 when the British Empire was colonising Africa and the world. Set on 305 hectares the lodge offers guests an intimate and private experience of the African bush.
The Lodge has four self-contained units that can be rented on either a self-catering basis. We also run a kitchen that is open from 7am to 7pm and guests not wanting to cook for themselves can order lunches and dinners from the kitchens.
When travelling to Rorke's Drift Lodge guests should remember that they should try to travel during the day as there are no street lights in the area. Rorke's Drift Lodge is well signposted from 30kms away but the road is not tarred and the last 5kms is a farm track. It is recommended that guests hiring vehicles ask for something like a Nissan X-Trail that has high clearance.
Please also note that our check in times are strictly between 3pm and 7pm. (Gates close at 7pm.)
