Rumaisa Hotel

Rumaisa Hotel

Malindi (Zanzibar), Zanzibar Archipelago, Tanzania
Hotel from R 471 (family units from R 1,413)
R 471

Rumaisa Hotel is centrally located in the Malindi, Zanzibar. This neighbourhood had many traders and seafarers from all over the world who came to the island to do businesses. Nowadays it is a place of bustling bazaars, grand Arab houses and mosques.

This is a comfortable hotel with seven double rooms. All beautifully furnished, each in different colour and all in typical Zanzibar style with the comforts that modern life demands. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, hot water showers, mini fridges, TVs and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have at least one balcony, some even two, and are equipped with an in-built solar emergency light.

Rumaisa is the Swahili word for bunch of flowers, and is suitable for a beautiful hotel like this; the idea was continued by naming the rooms after different indigenous species to form a bunch of wonderful flowers.
