Sandhurst Country Lodge is situated in Paul Roux which is a small town in the Free State. It is a historical Boer War town and there is a monument located close to the Sand River on the farm Tevrede. It is in memory of the children that died from measles during the Great Trek. Paul Roux boasts various examples of sandstone architecture and it features many old sandstone buildings, with Sandhurst Country Lodge being no exception.

Sandhurst Country Lodge is an executive sandstone architect-designed home. Each of the rooms feature fireplaces and pressed ceilings. They are designed in stylish furniture of yesteryear. Original paintings round off the décor.

The Blue Room can accommodate up to two guests and it comprises a comfortable queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, built-in cupboards and a TV with DStv. The Brassbed Room is a large room that can accommodate up to three guests. It contains a double brass bed, another single bed, a desk and plenty of wardrobe space. The Family Room is ideal for a family of four and it comprises two queen-size beds, plenty of cupboard space and a TV with DStv.
