Sandton Executive Suites - Hydro Park offers furnished self-catering executive apartments for the discerning traveller, whether for business or leisure.

There are a variety of suite layouts to choose from, including one- or two-bedroom units, with en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge and dining room. In-room facilities include queen-size beds with white cotton linen, a flat-screen TV with full DStv, a multi-format DVD/CD player, an electronic safe, a hairdryer, and complimentary beverages and toiletries.

Each kitchen is comprehensively equipped for all your self-catering needs, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a washing machine and tumble dryer, a fridge/freezer, a microwave oven and elegant crockery, cutlery and glassware for six guests. The units are serviced daily every weekday, and complimentary laundry services are provided.

There is also a designated basement parking bay made available per apartment, 24-hour security, gas barbecue facilities, desk chairs and umbrellas, a 25-metre heated swimming pool, a floating garden, and a private gym.

Sandton Executive Suites - Hydro Park is exceptionally conveniently located, with all major shopping malls, world-renowned restaurants, and the Gautrain all in close proximity. Morningside is particularly favoured by those travelling to Sandton.

I loved the location. The apartment I stayed in: Shower was not in a good condition. The panel board on one of the cupboards in the kitchen area was broken and looked very untidy. Some of the utensils in the cupboard were still dirty from not being cleaned properly. The iron which is had to pay a refundable deposit for upfront, a piece of it was broken below the area where you have to fill in the water and it did not iron well.

The suite was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much. However given the executive in the name there were a few extras that we felt would have completed the satisfaction level. Positive: The Nespresso machine was a very pleasant surprise. The blind on the front door for privacy and light was excellent Overall the styling of the apartment was very tasteful Suggestions:It would have been nice to have 2 ply toilet paper and a spare roll per toilet. The freezer was very iced up and looked as it had been like this for some time. It was very hard to pull out the draws and not very nice to have to put food in the freezer. There were no salad servers or service spoons which would have been good. Wee spilled something on the floor and had to use our hands and some paper to brush it up as there was no dustpan and brush The quality of the drying cloth was very poor. It was a very thin synthetic cloth that did not really dry properly. A thick cotton based cloth would be preferable If a client was wanting to eat out there did not seem to be a booklet giving information about call in food choices. There was no Hairdryer and there were no plugs suitable for a hair dryer that I could find for drying my hair where there was a mirror. There were only 4 hangers in the cupboard which meant that we had to hang double or triple to be able to hang all of our clothes The white leather bedside tables seem to have been marked by various visitors. It is also difficult to balance glasses firmly on their surface. Perhaps glass tabletops would be a suggestion as they can be cleaned easily. I trust this is of value to you
