Sandy's Beach House is situated in Morgan Bay on the Wild Coast, and is ideally situated for exploring the wild side while enjoying home comforts. The lovely Sandy's Beach House is a double-storey house on the lagoon edge and only 200 m from the beach.
It is fully equipped for self-catering and offers guests four double rooms and two bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom has a shower only while the upstairs bathroom has a bath and a shower. Linen is provided but guests need to bring own beach towels. Two rooms are furnished with queen-size beds and the other two with single beds.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and a dishwasher. An automatic washing machine is also available to guests. The lounge has a TV with DStv connection, but guests must bring their own decoder and smart card. A DVD player and a CD player are also found in the lounge.
An outside braai area is available in the shady garden and guests can enjoy lovely views from the deck, with furniture. No smoking or pets is allowed and a maid is available to guests. Off street parking is available.
For peace and tranquility, guests can relax on the deck and enjoy views of the lagoon and sea or take a walk on the beautiful beach. Splash in the splash pool on the sheltered sunny deck which is gated and toddler safe. Golf can be played at Kei Mouth and guests can enjoying swimming, fishing, birdwatching and canoe paddling. For the more adventurous, horse riding for beginners and advanced riders can be organized on the beach as well as in the nature reserves.
Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve is 60 km from Morgan Bay and offers half-day game drives at a very reasonable rate which includes lunch. Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience of getting up close and personal with elephants at the game reserve.
A pont/ferry can be found at the river which makes for easy crossings to the wild coast where travellers can enjoy lunch at one of the quaint wild coast hotels.
