Located on a small game reserve, Sangiro Lodge offers great accommodation, in the shelter of a rocky escarpment.

Spread out, chalets are private and offer excellent views of the roaming wildlife and surrounding reserve. Each chalet provides a deck with a braai and small seating area, a bedroom and bathroom with shower.

Accommodation is basic, clean and spacious, and is ideal for an overnight stay near Bloemfontein. The lodge serves an appetizing breakfast and provides great hospitality.

Sangiro Lodge is just outside Bloemfontein and very close to Shell Ultra City.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sangiro.The view from the deck was beautiful.However a few small maintenance things could change Sangiro into a four or five star lodge.

The wild life!! by

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation is beautiful, the staff is helpful, overall a good experience. My only complaint is that there prices differ to the priced that we were quoted on Safari, we had to pay R400 more and when we took it up with them were told that safari's prices are outdated. I really feel that that is not my problem, should they not have notified Safari?

Quick check in and out without any hazzles by

Suggestions: We were charged same amount for each of 3 persons for the night. The third person (adult) slept in the lounge area which was a bit uncomfortable, as the bathroom and toilet is on suite to the bedroom. Also, 3rd person had to stay awake while we watched TV. No curtain on the window next to the fridge. I am of the opinion that facility (6), is not suitable for 3 adults. The couch in the dining room appeared unhygenic and worn incomplete paint work in the bathroom Check the cold water tap at the bathroom basin, difficult to close ( wasted water)
