Sarasungu River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Kavango River in the Kavango Region of Northern Namibia. Here you can still find the original lodge atmosphere of personal attention, lovely thatched roof accommodation, thriving bird life, lush green lawns and a variety of indigenous trees. The lodge is 2 km away from Rundu Town.

Relax and cool down at our swimming pool or wine and dine in our African-themed restaurant. Take a stroll through our wooden bird sanctuary and enjoy our lovely garden tranquility while listening to the sounds of the birds.

Sarasungu River Lodge offers various rooms including twin, double and family rooms, as well as campsites. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a television, mosquito nets and a geyser, while the campsites feature toilets and showers with warm water, as well as electricity points.

In addition, there is a playground to keep the kids entertained, with minigolf, volley ball, table tennis, and a pool table. The lodge offers fishing trips and scenic tours on the Okavango River, with other activities including sundowner cruises, boat cruises, fishing trips, and traditional dancing.

Nice place but can be better! by

Long and rough road at the end. The room was dark. Friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was not good.

Quiet in the river by

Big rooms with fridge and coffee facilities. Packed breakfast offered if you have to travel early in the morning.

The river view was the best by

The whole place muste be inproved. Not good and clean not nice bedding. Restaurant not good service. the camping place look the best.

Nothing by

Poor service. Staff clearly dont care at all and couldn't answer even basic questions.
