Satao Camp

Satao Camp is part of the the ?Out Of Africa Collection'; a collection of chic eco-luxury camps covering most of the Kenyan National Parks. Satao Camp takes you back to the classical out of Africa safari with green canvas tents, bush-style showers and personal and friendly service; evoking a feeling of the true ?Old African' experience. Our location is indisputably unique; nestled beneath the shade of the old tamarind trees, just in front of a very favoured waterhole, our guests are ensured breathtaking view to the many elephants coming daily for a drink and a refreshing wash.

Accommodation is offered in Standard/Family Tents and Suite Tents, all of which are en suite, and with their own patio with a table and chairs. Satao's accommodation is suitably designed and adapted to cater for guests with disabilities. Game drive vehicles have been modified for wheelchair users to sit comfortably to experience something of a lifetime.

The dining room overlooks the Satao Oasis and our chefs prepare a delicious selection of international cuisine to satisfy every taste bud that visits us, vegetarian dishes are always on offer. Buffet lunch is served under a 200-year-old tamarind tree where guests may watch the elephants at the camp's own watering-hole. Buffet dinner is served in the restaurant lounge area.
