Sedgefield Kingfisher Cottage

Sedgefield Kingfisher Cottage offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet, pet-friendly, bird-rich garden across from the lagoon in Sedgefield. The cottage is hidden behind the main house. A paved path that is lit up at night leads all the way down the lagoon to the beach and jetty. Along this path it is also only 600 meters to the town center. Outside the cottage is a mosaic bench where you can sit and watch the sunrise, sunset, mountain, lagoon and wildlife. Everything is close by and the quiet village has so much to offer.

Sedgefield Kingfisher is ideal for a family or a group of friends and can accommodate six guests. This cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedrooms and main bathroom with a bath are on the top floor. The first bedroom has a king size bed and a wooden cot for a baby. The second bedroom has a king size bed and a single bed. The third, smaller, bedroom has a single bed. The kitchen, dining and living area, bathroom with a shower, washing machine and tumble dryer are on the lower floor.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and has a counter with chairs, as well as a dishwasher. The dining area has a wooden dining set with seating for six. The lounge has a flat screen TV and sliding doors leading to a private veranda with a built-in braai.

There is a lovely garden with a mountain view and plenty of play space. There is a parking space opposite the cottage on the premises. Access to the premises is via an electric gate.

The cottages can be cleaned daily on request at extra cost. Guests also have access to the driveway and a spacious backyard. Guests can rent kayaks on site at an additional cost.
