Segodi Game Lodge is a pristine lodge set on a 1000-hectare fully fenced game farm deep in the savannah bushveld of Africa. The farm is conveniently located between Thabazimbi and Ellisras, approximately 300 km from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
In this unique piece of untamed bushveld, you can spot a wide range of game species including steenbok, giraffe, common duiker, bushbuck, warthog, impala, blesbok, red hartebeest, kudu, zebra, leopard, cheetah, and brown hyena among others. This area also offers prolific bird life, with more than 200 recorder bird species, making it a bird lover's paradise.
Segodi Game Lodge has an informal, relaxed, colonial ?Out of Africa' atmosphere, and offers guests a spacious lounge and dining room with comfortable sofas, the ideal place to relax and watch TV. There is an adjacent well-stocked thatched bar overlooking a garden and pool area, as well as a solidly built sun-dappled boma which is used for dinner.
Accommodation is offered in private, luxury chalets, each with its own en-suite bathroom, walk-in cupboard, and veranda. Room facilities include airconditioning, mosquito nets on the windows, and mosquito repellent. The chalets are serviced daily.
The lodge veranda has an extensive reading library. The small swimming pool, set in the lush garden, is the ideal place for reading, taking a cool dip, or just lounging around. Guests can take part in game drives, or guided bush walks, and then afterwards enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or another beverage. The lodge has a private airstrip which in is walking distance of the lodge.
