Shady Creek Cottage is situated on the banks of the Breede River with breathtaking views to wake up to. The cottage is comfortable and stylishly furnished with two en-suite bedrooms; each bedroom flows to the exterior through beautiful French doors.
There is an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and living area and there is a sleeper couch in the lounge area for extra guests. There are braai facilities outside for entertainment purposes, and a fireplace inside. A jetty is available to guests. If you want to experience country life, birdwatching, peace and tranquillity, Shady Creek Cottage is the ideal breakaway. Guesthouse DStv available which has sport and movie channels.
Lying in the shadow of the Langeberg and Riviersonderend mountains on the banks of the Breede River, this part of the world is known as the Valley of Cheese and Wine for good reason. There are four co-operative wine cellars, four estates and at least two private wine producers in the area, including the oldest wine cellar, Nordale.
The Breede River provides an endless list of water sports, including a trip up the river on the River Goose, canoeing, fishing, and for those without water wings, there is a golf course, hiking - and 4x4 trails.
