Shark Shack Backpackers is a 24-hour friendly backpackers and self-catering accommodation close to The Point in Mossel Bay. This is the place to be to get away from the city life.

We offer TV, a bar fridge, DStv ready, just bring your own decoder. In the backpacker rooms, bedding is included, coffee is available at an extra cost. The self-catering units offer an open plan self-catering kitchen and dining room with all that is needed. These units have a lounge with DStv and a braai area.

Mossel bay offers some of the best surfing spots, outdoor adventures like Shark Cage Diving and Historical sites like the Diaz Museum and much more to visit on daily trips.

Mossel Bay is perfect in the sense that we are so centrally located in the Garden Route. You can make Shack Shack your base station whilst you explore the rest of the Garden Route.

The Shark Shack is the perfect location and the host is friendly and helpfull but he could take a little more care keeping the rooms clean and servicing the rooms. Our room was not cleaned in the 4 days we were there....
