This elegant, double storey house is about 30 metres from the beach and has the most stunning sea views. It is centrally located and within walking distance to Shelley Point Hotel, Spa and Country Club.

The first level has an open plan, fully equipped kitchen. There is a lounge, dining area, fireplace, and balcony with sea views for guests to marvel at the ocean and surrounds. The en-suite bedroom and sleeper couch are situated on this level and are perfect for a family with a child. DStv is included for guests' entertainment. The ground level has two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has access to the garden and braai area; while the other bedroom has access to the garage and table tennis area. There is a second TV on this level and linen is provided but please bring your own towels.

Things to do in Shelley Point include Shelley Bay Beach, Stompneusbaai, The Marmalade Cat, Namaqua (Spruitdrift) Wines, Ormonde Private Cellar, and Die Plaasmol.

The establishment needs some TLC but it's was clean. I informed the owner upon arrival about my concerns.

Stunning sunsets by

Loved the peace and quiet. Basic facilities. Didn't like the dirty windows and the fact that the bedroom door leading onto the patio did not lock securely. The table tennis table collapsed while kids were playing. Didn't enjoy having to access braai area through bedroom and going up and down stairs with supplies from kitchen. Overall enjoyed.

It's awesome. Near the beach. Serene. People are friendly and helpful. Beautiful view. Lovely beach. Cottage has everything you need for self-catering. Stunning place

With a lovely beach view and a quiet street and within walking distance from the hotel the Shelley Point Guest House is great for a quiet retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could've made it better is wi-fi but if your aim is to disconnect...this is the place.
