Shoestrings Backpackers Lodge

Shoestrings Backpackers Lodge is a laid-back, brightly coloured backpackers for the more young at heart who are more interested in a party than a good night's sleep.

Shoestrings Backpackers Lodge offers a choice of comfortable Twin Rooms, Double Rooms, Family Rooms or Dorm Rooms, most of which have air-conditioning or are equipped with ceiling fans. Soap and toilet paper are provided and most of the rooms have bedding, except for the Dorm Rooms where sheets and pillows are provided, but bedding can be requested at an additional cost.

The rooms share the use of a communal kitchen that is fully equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, cutlery and crockery, and guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area. Room cleaning and a laundry service are available on request. Two-man Tents are also available and the campsite has an ablution block with showers and separate toilets. A communal kitchen and dining area is located at the back of the campsite.

The lodge also has a little café called The Garden of Eat'n which serves meals such as pizzas, steaks and salads and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar which also has a pool table and a satellite TV. Guests can relax in the common room, make use of the Internet facilities or cool down in the swimming pool and chat with other guests in the shady garden. Guests can visit the curio shop and activities can be booked with their sister company, Backpackers Bazaar.

Transfers to the Victoria Falls, the Zambian Border or Botswana Border, the airport and around Victoria Falls are available, and guests can enquire at the bar. Parking is also available and the lodge is within walking distance of the shops, curio market and booking agents.
