Signal Cottage

Quiet and peaceful, this Victorian cottage has been beautifully renovated to create a light and airy space in a leafy setting on the slopes of Signal Hill. With Lion's Head creating an impressive backdrop, this cottage is in a great location for convenient access to Cape Town's attractions. Steps lead up to the front door which opens in to beautifully decorated living rooms with white wooden floors. Characterised by inviting sofas, large armchairs, quirky light fittings, and a clever use of artwork and décor, these are comfortable spaces for utter relaxation or socialising. On one side the living room leads through to the kitchen and on the other there is an easy flow to the dining room. Fling wide the French doors on two sides for plenty of fresh air or to step out on to the furnished deck to enjoy al fresco meals under the shade of the tree. The cosy kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation and has a separate scullery. The back door leads out to a lovely courtyard with seating, creating the ideal space for enjoying a barbecue with views of Signal Hill. With hanging candle holders to create a congenial atmosphere this becomes the perfect spot for watching the sunset. Steps lead down from the courtyard to a creative pebbled garden.
