This home-from-home self-catering cottage is just 5 minutes' drive to the centre of town and the same distance to Woodstock's creative lifestyle and décor arcades, coffee shops and Old Biscuit Mill retail precinct and famous Neighbourgoods market.

Guests share the small swimming pool with next door Angel Cottage. Both cottages are named after the cats that live on the property, who greet all guests with affection.

The bedroom has a queen-size bed and big dressing area with masses of cupboards and storage space. It's all about open plan living in Skye Cottage, with double leather sofas in the lounge, TV and full DSTV. The dining table seats five and the kitchen has a dark granite counter top with bar stools, a bar fridge and large chest freezer. Parking is available on Palmerston Road and you can enter the property via a gated alleyway alongside the building.

Self-driving is easy, with the M3 motorway on-and-off ramp just 200 metres up the road, heading directly into central Cape Town (4km), V&A Waterfront (6.5km) and Cape Town International Airport (14.6km). The only reliable public transport is MyCiti Buses and there are two stops within 100 metres of Skye Cottage. Woodstock has numerous cafés and restaurants, with Jamaica Me Crazy Caribbean grill house, District Café and Pesce Azzurro a minute's walk from Skye Cottage.
