Worst New Year's Eve Ever by

Everything wasn't the way I expected it to be. Firstly the swimming pools aren't well kept and the wasn't a table for the family to eat at inside the chalet. An unknown person basically harassed us by taking away the fireworks that we were supposed to celebrate with. Overall it was excellent...

Thank you for your comments, I apologise that you were disappointed with your stay here.  I would like to respond to some of the issues raised.  Soetdorings Country Club is located on a plot in the Bushveld and is surrounded by game farms.  We are also experiencing severe drought and sparks combined with these conditions can lead to field fires.  It is illegal to shoot fireworks in our area and we are obligated to prohibit guests from shooting fireworks.  We apologise for the inconvenience.  Secondly, we are busy doing maintenance on one of the swimming pools further away from the main entertainment area, however, I'm sure you will agree, the other one, with the small slippery slide, closest to the restaurant is very well-kept and functional, just like illustrated in the picture.  Lastly, our Chalet's are open plan and simply furnished, with a dining area outside on the private patio.  I updated our advert to make sure that this is clear, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The beds mattresses was so hard it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The music was loud till 2.30 in the morning! The tv was not working at all.
