Sonho Lindo Self-catering Lodge is located in the most picturesque area of Mozambique, in the province of Inhambane. A mere 13 km from the Vilanculos International Airport, Sonho Lindo can be reached either by road or air.
The area of Vilanculos, situated in a wildlife sanctuary, is blessed with unspoilt beaches magnificent coral reefs, with one of the world's best underwater realms, and spectacular landscapes with the white sands of the Magaruque and Bazaruto Islands shimmering in the distance.
Sonho Lindo Self-catering Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests and comprises two bedrooms, an open-plan living, dining room and kitchen, as well as a deck. The main bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom contains three single beds and an en-suite bathroom. There are also two single-size bed benches in the living room for additional guests.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a gas stove and a gas fridge and freezer. Other features include a large deck and swimming pool, and outdoor braai facilities for relaxed entertaining.
Guests would be spoilt for choice at the number of activities offered at Sonho Lindo. Island drives will allow you to explore the abundant and exquisite bird life. Local tours will also take you to historical sites. The crystal clear water immediately brings scuba diving to mind.
The exotic underwater world abounding with butterfly fish, moorish idols, box fish, goldies and many more swim gently among the beautiful coloured corals and sponges. If snorkelling is your thing, you can explore a number of safe coral reef enclosed bays.
If you prefer to stay above the water, try a number of water sports, such as skiing, wind surfing, sailing and many more. Glide peacefully and silently in a traditional Arab dhow and search for the islands flamingos along the coastline. Deep-sea fishing is also an exciting option. If all these activities sound too exhausting for you, you could always swim in the warm ocean, recline on a deck chair, sip cocktails, and dine on fresh crayfish or calamari.
